Event Objective

To encourage young innovators and creators from engineering and design colleges to develop practical, aesthetic, and sustainable products using non-woven textiles — ranging from daily-use items to out-of-the-box innovations.

Event Association

संरचना 2025 will be held inside the Nonwoven Tech Asia Exhibition — Asia’s second-largest non-woven textile exhibition, taking place on 6th–7th–8th November 2025 at Yashobhoomi, Delhi.
संरचना will be conducted on 7th November 2025 and will be powered by TBD Campus.

Event Categories

Participants can choose one of the four categories to compete in:

1. Non-Woven Apparel – For Men, Women, and Kids Examples: casual wear, outerwear, functional fashion.
2. Non-Woven Travel Accessories – Examples: backpacks, tote bags, duffle bags, organizers.
3. Medical Textiles – Examples: scrubs, gowns, masks, protective gear.
4. Free Thinking Products – Out-of-the-box innovations or experimental designs using non-woven material.

Judgment Parameters

Each product will be judged based on the following:

1. Comfort / Ease of Operations – usability, ergonomics, wearability
2. Aesthetics – design appeal, color coordination, presentation
3. Functionality – practicality, purpose fulfillment
4. Innovation – creativity, uniqueness, new use of non-woven materials

Participation Criteria

• Team Size:Minimum 1 member and maximum 5 members per team
• Eligibility: Open to Engineering & Design college students
• No Limit on Teams: There is no restriction on the number of teams that can participate from a single college.
• Material Composition: Minimum 50% of the product components must be made of non-woven material
• Pre-registration Mandatory: All teams must complete pre-registration by 4th November 2025. (Teams without pre-registration will not be eligible to participate.)

Rules

• A participant can take part in only one category.
• A participant cannot be a member of more than one team.
• Only those participants whose names were submitted in the official registration form will be allowed entry and participation in the competition.
(Substitute or additional members will not be permitted.)
• All participants must carry a valid college identity card or government-issued ID for verification on the event day.

Prizes

• 1st Prize: ₹51,000
• 2nd Prize: ₹25,000
• 3rd Prize: ₹11,000
(+ Certificates & Industry Recognition for all shortlisted teams)

Event Process Flow

Stage 1: Display & Jury Walk

Format: Exhibition-style display

• Each team sets up a product display table.
• The walking jury will visit each table, interact with the team, and evaluate the product on all 4 parameters.
• Teams should be ready with a prototype/model, concept board, and brief verbal pitch (max. 5 minutes).
• Shortlisting: Top teams from each category advance to Stage 2.

Stage 2: Final Presentation

Format: Formal presentation in front of a jury panel

• Shortlisted teams deliver a 7–10 minute presentation (with PPT or demo).
• Presentation must cover:
  1. Problem Statement
  2. Product Concept
  3. Material Composition
  4. Design Process / Engineering Process
  5. Prototype Showcase
  6. Market Potential / Future Use
• Followed by a Q&A round (3–5 minutes) with judges.

Each team should bring:

• Prototype / Product Model
• Material Specification Sheet
• Brief Report or Design Sheet (1–2 pages)
• Optional: PPT / Poster for Presentation Round
